Secondary Fuel Zone Choices allow schools to select the most appropriate food stations for their needs and preferences. We offer a wide range of healthy menu options, and a great choice of vegetarian and halal food.
For just £1.90, pupils can select a main item, a yoghurt, milk/water, and can fill up on homemade soup, bread, fruit and vegetables.
Between our Fuel Zones, cafés, and external food huts, Glasgow school children have an extensive choice of lunch options, all of which are healthy and comply with the Schools Health Promotion and Nutrition (Scotland) Act 2007.
Our initiatives are all focussed around keeping children nourished as well as safe and within school grounds. We offer a competitive alternative to fast-food outlets and encourage pupils to eat healthier, more filling meals.
Students can register for the Fuel Zone reward scheme at www.fuelzone.co.uk and collect points every time they eat in the Fuel Zone. Points can be redeemed against various rewards including iPods, gym memberships, and gift vouchers.
